Day of Action

Saturday 12 June 2004

A rally was held at the Redgrave on Saturday, 12 June 2004 to demonstrate that the Redgrave is by no means dead.

Flowers bedecked the empty building to symbolise life and regeneration.

  • A TV news team was there from BBC's South Today and the local press also reported the event.

  • Many illustrious professionals from the Redgrave's past came to support, together with members, professional and voluntary, of the New Farnham Repertory Company.

  • Support also came from Farnham's Bourne Players, Basingstoke's Haymarket, Anvil and Central Studio, Guildford's Yvonne Arnaud, Southampton's Nuffield and Salisbury's Playhouse.
