Providing
26 performances, bringing pleasure to 3,500 customers over the 2004
summer season
Giving a
free performance for schools (with more to come in 2005)
Reaching
out to young people directly, by providing workshops at schools (more
planned for 2005)
Giving a
free performance for the disabled and disadvantaged (Charlie’s Aunt). (One
is planned for each production in 2005.)
Providing
two spectacular performing events in Waverley
Bringing
business to the town of Farnham
Bringing
visitors to Farnham to discover the delights of the town (some from over 200
miles away)
Encouraging
traders to use the opportunity offered for evening meals (discussions to
take place with the Chamber of Commerce)
Supporting
the development of professional actors
Encouraging
the involvement of local groups and local amateur actors (more to be
included in 2005)
Adopting an
“Inclusive” philosophy — keeping seat prices low to encourage the less well
off and to foster the discovery of theatre
Supporting
other local charities by putting on special performances
Being
acknowledged at National level as a provider of high artistic
